This beautiful rainbow greeted me as I walked out of the office at the end of the day. It made me so glad I keep my little camera in my purse. The colors were so bright and so vibrant, it put a smile on my face the whole drive home.

It was 55 degrees today which required another trip to the park Blakey was very excited about this slide. I would pick him up to move him to the top again and he would get so mad, like I was taking him away or something. He is growing up so fast!

It feels like spring and it makes me happy. After two days of the flu I was finally feeling a bit better and the kids and I ran to Sam's Club this morning, resulting in an adorable new raincoat for Mylie. Daddy got off work early and we went to the park. I love going to the park, I love how much Mylie loves going to the park, and I especially love this park.

I was at this park on a walk with Jeff and his dog and that was when I knew I loved him and would marry him. Funny thing ... it was on our third date ... but I just knew. Seven years later I love him even more than ever. Every time we go to this park I just want to hold his hand. On that walk I imagined that someday we'd be back walking at this park with a stroller, this year we were back with a 4 year old and a little dude in a stroller. Seriously, I love my life. My life with Jeff and the kids is even better than I could have imagined. Sure, we have our tough times and things aren't always easy, but I am so happy.

Mylie wanted to pick out her own clothes today. I've had a nasty case of the stomach bug, so I was all about letting her do it so I didn't have to. Seriously, how cute is she? She put on this pleated skirt and blazer and told me that going to Alicia's (daycare) is her job and she is ready for work. I just want to squeeze all her cuteness. She is growing up so fast, she looks like she is ready to head off to school.

Looks like we have another reader. Jeff and I both love to read, Mylie loves to read, and Blakey has taken a definite liking to books. I love watching him turn the pages and "read."

{Doing the happy dance!} I ordered a new lens for my camera last week and it arrived today (a day earlier than expected). I know this means nothing if you aren't a camera person, but I am so excited and this is definitely now the nicest lens I own. I was explaining to Mylie how the UPS mas is like Santa Claus; however, she informed me that Santa comes in the night not the day and he doesn't drive a brown truck ... close enough for me!

I really like Sundays. I like going to church with my family, I like that we are off work, but something else I really like on Sundays ... reading the Sunday paper. I just love taking my time, reading the whole paper and then going through all the ads {notice the Target ad conveniently sticking out}.

{Not a Valentine's Day post.} Spring soccer starts for Mylie next month. We were out shopping today and I found these, on sale. I wanted to squeal they were so cute! I want black and pink addidas of my own! I *may* have gotten her pink shin guards too. Nothing says you can't be fashionable AND athletic! :)

Obviously not a technically perfect picture ... Mylie is cut out, Blake is cropped weird ... but as I was editing pictures it just caught me in a 5:00 shadow, so glad when Daddy comes home, holy cow I love this man kind of way.

This is a super cute calendar that I made this week. I have been hoarding coasters from the Outback for quite a while. Its not like we go there often, maybe a couple times a year, but every time I sneak all the coasters off of our table {and sometimes off the empty table next to us} into my purse ... that is OK, right? Anyway, I have been saving them for a cute project and this was it. It is a perpetual calendar, each page just has a number {1-31} using cute shades of red, black and a robin's egg blue. It looks adorable sitting on the shelf at my office. It feels good to be crafting again! In the last week or so I made this, a 6x6 scrapbook for Christmas, and made 9 12x12 pages for the kid's books. So fun.

{Wishing for spring.} This morning we woke up to snow, sigh. I realize it is only February, but I am so ready for spring. But as the kids and I were pulling out of the driveway I looked over to the tree and saw this little bird perched there ... which gave me a glimmer of hope that spring is on its way!

Where I spend all my Tuesdays. I run a Youth Court program where high school students act as attorneys and jurors and try their peers who are charged with first time offenses. I really love my job.

{The other man in my life.} Today is my 7th wedding anniversary. I had planned to take a picture of Jeff or even a picture of us together. But Bubba is still sick and just needed his Momma today. I hope he starts feeling better. He is so worn out that he just crawls around to play, but then lays down on the floor because he is so worn out. Poor little dude. But I was happy to spend my anniversary taking care of my two precious babies. I have been blessed with an amazing husband. It's funny because you think your wedding day is the happiest day of your life, but I look at all the happiness and blessings that I have received in the last 7 years and it is overwhelming. My happiness has expanded at least 10 times since then. I am a lucky woman.

Happy Birthday to Blake! We had such a nice day today. I took the day off and Jeff only worked a half day. We took the kids out to lunch and then went to the zoo. We love the zoo and were so excited that it was 43 degrees and sunny! Blake was just mellow and hanging out in his stroller. Mylie was happy and excited. The sun was so good for all of us. Mylie took her camera and took a lot of pictures {she is so my kid}.

I really love these kids. I really love what they have taught me about myself and how much I have grown in the 4+ years I have been a mom. It is so hard to believe that Blakey is already one, but even harder to believe Mylie is 4. Wow.

I *love* my cricut! I spent some time this weekend cleaning and organzing my scrapbook room and have even got some pages done this week. Yay. I also did some vinyl lettering in my living room. {I see another picture coming!}
